Albert allows you to adjust the quantity of a lot and transfer an Inventory quantity to another storage location via Inventory adjustments and Inventory Transfers, respectively. All historical adjustments and transfers are saved and can be found in the Lot History.
Inventory Adjustment
You should perform an Inventory adjustment when you'd like to change the quantity of a Lot (for example, if part of a Lot is accidentally spilled).
To adjust the quantity of a lot, navigate to the desired Inventory item. Click on the three dots that are present when hovering over the row of the appropriate Lot and select "Inventory Adjustment".
After selecting Inventory Adjustment, a new modal will appear, shown below:
You can then select whether you will be adding, subtracting, or zeroing out the quantity of the material, and note the quantity you are changing. Click Save to complete the adjustment.
The adjustment will then be found in the Lot's history.
Inventory Transfer
You should perform an Inventory transfer when you'd like to transfer all or part of a Lot to another storage location (for example, if you'll be storing the sample somewhere other than where you got it from). To transfer an Inventory quantity to another storage location, navigate to the desired Inventory item. Click on the three dots that are present when hovering over the row of the appropriate Lot and select "Inventory Transfer".
After selecting Inventory Transfer, a new modal will appear, shown below:
Note: If you select "Transfer All," this will allow you to automatically transfer all of the remaining volume of the lot.
You will then have the option to note where you are transferring the lot to, how much of it you are transferring, and add any notes or descriptors in. Click Save to complete the transfer.
When you change the storage location of a lot, a new lot will be created with a new, unique lot number, and a new label will be auto-generated for you to print and label the bottle with.
Note: Albert will automatically sort your lots by the volume on hand, from most to least.
All historical adjustments and transfers will be found in the Lot History.
