The Application Engineering section of a Project is designed for users that create and complete many Property Tasks (e.g. Technical Support, Application Engineers, etc.) and allows:
Users to rapidly create new Tasks without needing access to the Project’s formulations
Users to view, manage, and create Property Tasks
Users to compare Property Tasks across many Formulations and Inventory items
Chemists to view formulations and baseline formulas or competitive products (Consumables) side-by-side to quickly compare results
More individuals to collaborate on a single project
Navigating the Application Engineering Grid
To access the Application Engineering Module, navigate to the Projects Module and click on Application Engineering on the left side panel.
Editing the Application Engineering Grid
The Application Engineering module is highly customizable. Users can add any Raw Material, Consumable, or Inventory item to their Application Engineering Grid by navigating to the Application Engineering module and searching for these items in the search bar that says “Add Columns”. From there, users can select the appropriate value. This selection will add a column and automatically populate all of the Property Tasks ever created for that particular Formulation or Inventory item.
