A critical step in the Product Development process is the ability to organize and plan out work. Projects are a way to organize information within Albert, and help promote digital collaboration between teams while also protecting Intellectual Property (IP).
Searching for a Project
Selecting the Project module will open a list of starred Projects, a saved filter called 'My Open Projects', and an option to view all Projects. Selecting one of the starred projects will open that Project directly, allowing you to bypass the list of projects.
When selecting the 'My Open Projects' filter, the Project module will open and apply the respective filter, showing all of your open projects.
Whether you are selecting the available filter or viewing all Projects, you can easily search, filter on, and sort by a variety of criteria to narrow down your Project search further.
Search: Ask Albert
To search for a specific Project item, navigate to the Ask Albert search bar at the top of the Project module, type in your desired keywords, and hit 'Enter'.
Filter On
The panel with which you can apply filters is on the lefthand side of the Project module. Multiple filter options and multiple filters within each option can be applied to narrow down the list of Projects that apply to what you're looking for. The number of items that will appear after a selected filter is applied sits next to the name of the filter, as shown below. As you check off filters, new numbers will populate based on how many items fit the newly selected criteria.
The full list of fields that can be filtered on are as follows:

| Access | Filter by every Albert user to display the projects this person has access to. |
| Customer / Market Segment | Filter by the customer or market segment the project is for. |
| Application | Filter by the application of the project to find projects in certain directions. |
| Technology | Filter by the technology of the project to find projects within specific areas. |
| Status | Filter by the status of a project (Not started, Active, Completed-Success or Completed-Archived). |
| Location | Filter by the projects that are carried out at a given location. It is possible that more than one site is working on a project. |
| Created By | Filter by the project creator. |
Sort By
You are able to sort the full or filtered list of Projects by relevancy, by Project ID, by date created, and alphabetically.
